Founder of the Tanika O’Brien Group at Compass, Tanika O’Brien has spent 17 years in real estate and the past 14 years living, working, and building a life along Florida’s beautiful 30A. What began as a favorite vacation destination quickly became home, and today Tanika is proud to be one of the area’s most experienced and connected real estate professionals.

Tanika and her husband, Steve, made the move to 30A after years of vacationing along the Emerald Coast and dreaming about making beach life permanent. Steve is a local builder and owner of Coastline Custom Homes, and Tanika’s own real estate career has deep roots in new home construction. That combination has given her a unique understanding of not only buying and selling real estate, but also construction, design, quality, value, and the nuances of building along the coast.

In 2020, Tanika began building what has grown into the Tanika O’Brien Group, now one of the top large real estate teams on 30A. It is an accomplishment she is incredibly proud of, but even more important to her is the team behind it. With many years of combined real estate experience, the group is collaborative, hardworking, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoys working together. They work hard for their clients, support one another, and believe there is no reason you can’t have a lot of fun while doing great business.

For Tanika, real estate has always been about more than transactions. She loves sharing the lifestyle that made her fall in love with 30A in the first place and helping clients find their own place within it. Her years of experience, local market knowledge, construction background, and extensive relationships throughout the community allow her to guide buyers and sellers with both confidence and a practical, straightforward approach.

When she isn’t working, Tanika and Steve are avid golfers, Frenchie lovers, and self-proclaimed fun havers. You’ll often find them on the golf course, spending time with friends, cruising 30A with their French Bulldogs, or enjoying everything that comes with living at the beach.

Fourteen years later, Tanika still feels lucky to call 30A home. Building a successful business and one of the area’s top real estate teams in a community she genuinely loves has made it even more special.
